Anthony Vernace

Anthony’s practice focuses on a wide range of real estate issues, including acquiring, disposing of, and financing all types of real property. He has substantial experience representing homebuilders and developers in land acquisitions and project development. He often works with tenants and landlords negotiating office, industrial and other leases, and he also advises institutional lenders on a wide variety of matters in connection with construction and other mortgage loans, including workouts and forbearance agreements. Anthony is known for his practical approach to achieving his clients’ desired outcomes efficiently and effectively.

Prior to joining Lawton Whiteman Law, Anthony spent 18 years working in the world’s largest law firms, most recently as a Partner at Greenberg Traurig. In addition to his professional achievements, Anthony is committed to giving back to the community. He often volunteers his time and expertise to various charitable organizations and pro bono initiatives, and was presented with the Community Service Award from The Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County for his efforts.
