Title Insurance

Obtaining title insurance through an experienced attorney is one of the more important aspects of any real estate conveyance. All to often, residential and commercial buyers accept title insurance polices with exceptions to coverage that should have been removed. Our attorneys scrutinize title and thoroughly review surveys to resolve title matters and exceptions to coverage. We act as agents for the title insurance companies and work directly with the title underwriters in issuing owners and mortgagee title insurance policies to protect your investment.  

Leasing

Our team advises owners and tenants in the leasing of commercial property, including big box locations, office space, shopping centers, and entertainment centers. We handle the full range of leasing, including lease negotiations and lease drafting for build-to-suit leases, retail leases, restaurant leases, commercial leases, sale leasebacks, and ground leases.

Homebuilding

Our attorneys have spent years working as real estate transactional counsel for the largest publicly traded homebuilders in the Nation, including several years in-house with the second largest publicly traded homebuilder in the Nation. Our experience provides a unique understanding of how our homebuilder clients operate and first-hand insight into complicated market factors. With this background, we provide sound, practical guidance to our national, regional, and local homebuilder clients. We also serve as developer’s counsel in connection with the creation and review of homeowners’ associations, community declarations and other types of restrictive covenants, and condominiums.
